It's all about Marketing

My husband is disabled and finds it absolutely impossible to sit in one place without messing around with something. (But I can think of a lot of guys who are neurotypical but still feel compelled to mess with things.) I chose this set because it seemed like most toys were silent. The husband might be on the spectrum and have issues he just can't control, but I also have a diagnosis called premenopause...and I really don't want to be scammed or locked up after collapsing a pen cap or the clinking of car keys ONCE IS CLOSED A LOT OF. I'm sorry I just can't. Something was needed. A strong sedative could have worked for both of us, but I bought this instead. Upon arrival, the items reminded me of trinkets you could win at a school carnival or something that could be exchanged for pathetic Chuck E-Cheese tickets. But then I realized that some of them really do look like cat toys! I put them in a bag that I can tighten because I swear it's only a matter of time before my Siamese pup can help himself. However, my husband disagreed with my observations and was very pleased with the variety and quality. Since he is the recipient, I agree with his opinion. I told him how much they cost - the price I thought was a bit steep compared to the quality - and he still insisted he liked them and that the price was worth it. He's usually a cheap guy, but he was really impressed and happy. BTW, we don't have kids so I can't vouch for them being 'safe' for young people. Or kitten. 24 ITEMS YOU WILL RECEIVE (which are not really different from the description so feel free to skip this if you don't like the full details or my notes about the noise they make/don't make). * Two fidget spinners: one with flat ends and one with pointed ends. I have no comparison as we have never bought these devices before even when they were in vogue. They are plastic and spin well. Almost silent! With the fan or TV on? Quiet! * Two rubber balls: 2.39 inches in diameter. They're soft, but they bounce. Calm! (If you don't end up throwing them against the walls... hey, I'm an only child, so yeah, I enjoy that because *my* noise is regular noise). I do not advise those who have a dog that fetches. It would be nice if one was a bit bigger. * Four marbled plastic grid tubes: Pretty cool. My husband loves the feel and action as he can push the ball up and down for hours and loves the feel of his hand. Calm! Five stars! The cat says five stars! * Three Finger Massage Rings: Looks and feels like metal but I'm pretty sure it's plastic. Calm! The husband doesn't wear a wedding ring, so that's a double score! Good stretch. Cool texture. And a chic barbie belt too. Slime, mud and homemade plasticine were nothing in my childhood. I feel robbed. They have that typical "feel like it's wet, but it's not really wet". They are really small, my husband would like another one for the whole hand, not just the fingers. Whichever pig/puppy drop it should be, they are gender specific - one has a bow. Sweet? * Two metal O-ring puzzles: not silent! But not that loud either. I'm not smart enough to understand how they work. I am sorry. They looked jingly so I'm hoping they fall to the bottom of the bag and are of no use. * One Pod of Peas: Comes with a keychain option for all your travel needs. Nice and quiet! Three inner polka dots included. Soft and flexible. A pea has a face. The other two are heartbreakingly faceless. China, why are you cutting off like that? Too bad. * Single Cube Puzzle: Not 100% silent. But not loud. Similar to Rubik. The colors are painted on, so forget peeling off stickers and fooling around with your drunken family at Christmas like my cousin did in 1984. * Three tiny square plastic puzzles with metal beads: Loud. Very loud! It's not something *I* ever strive for to relieve stress, it's something you like. This is another great keepsake gizmo that you'll find in a gumball machine or party bag at a 7-year-old's birthday party. 7-year-old child, 1979 * Two plastic puzzle balls: one rounded, the other with edges. Again, I don't have the patience so I can't vouch and my husband didn't tip me. Quiet!*Two plastic puzzles: Quiet! My husband really likes it. One looks like a snake and then turns into a big ring, and the other is a block puzzle, proving once again that Mensah must have laughed at my application. ' branch; I think this tote looks just as good (and a little cheaper) than some of the others I've reviewed. Since 90% of these toys don't throw me into a noise tantrum, that's 5 stars. And so far nothing has broken. Finished. Hooray.
