it is easy to use, but a trigger device of some sort would improve the usefulness. i use it to polish out guitar finishes. For that ,it works well. The pads that come with it are marginal, and there was no pad cleaner tool in box as advertised, plus it lists a cleaner tool on contents list, but its not there. No its not a top of the line tool, but it should come as advertisef
