Review on Stay Place Serger Machine Mat by Kristen Reid

Glad I stumbled across the internet buying a sewing machine for my vintage dining table and am very happy with the rug underneath. The mat is beautiful, thick and durable, fully protecting the table and preventing the machine from moving even slightly. My desk is black so it's a bonus that the rug matches it perfectly. As a last resort I've used it as a quick pincushion, which they may or may not recommend, but it's handy for that. Having never used the machine on a table without a mat underneath I can't comment on the noise reduction, but I can't imagine a mat not also reducing the noise of the machine to some extent. My car is a standard size and the mat underneath has large borders at each end and wide borders at the front and back. I would buy it again and recommend it.
