Wanted to add a rack to my old Trek. It had no "built-in" way to do this. I was just trying to figure out how to make a stand mount when I found this little gem! It was almost too good to be true; just what i need with the hardware to install it. I ended up finding a threaded hole for the wing that I think was filled with dirt a long time ago; I cleaned it and used it to attach the bracket. It kept my bike safe even when the baskets were loaded with groceries. Definitely the best and most economical solution to my problem.
