but doesn't work like oem.

Fits the original 5 cup jar on my Classic Oster 500W blender but doesn't look like the original. The original can be used with Ball Mason jars, which is great for canning and slicing vegetables to keep in separate jars. this one is not. It's hard to see, but the strands are tighter and closer together when replaced. The bottom hole is also slightly different.
