Poor calibration for thermometers and timers

All 6 I've bought read temperatures between 6 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit - pretty serious for something that keeps your chilled food at the optimum temperature target! In comparison, the cheap Chinese digital thermometers I later bought were much more accurate.
