Although my son is currently a size 3T he is gradually growing out of size 3T so I ordered 4T and am glad I did. The coat is a little large but still fits him well enough for him to grow into. The wool itself is very easy to wash and dry, and even in the dryer it won't shrink or fade. When I put it on he said that the jacket is nice and soft on the inside, which is good because my son doesn't like too much rough or stitched fabrics. We were taking a short trip abroad to see family and it happened to snow there, but luckily we had this jacket with us. This not only kept him warm but also allowed him to play snowball fights with his cousins. While he was playing I kept asking him if he was warm enough and of course he said yes. This coat never soaked the melted snow into the jacket, but it was clearly visible that it just dripped off. Even after the kids had finished playing you could feel the cold on the outside of the jacket but when I felt his hands it was nice and warm. Not to mention that it was completely dry underneath. I was able to wipe the remaining snow off this jacket and it didn't drip everywhere. Really easy to clean and keeps you warm. I am absolutely satisfied with this jacket.
