Review on High-Performance Bosch BS80 6W Bandsaw - 80 Inch 4 Inch Blades by Erik Haynes

This is the worst blade I have ever used. I set up one of these blades to cut 2 inches of figured maple and satin. The first few cuts were rough and cutting was surprisingly slow. The next few cuts were even slower and the wood started to burn. Even when I tried to cut spruce, which is quite soft, the cut was slow and the edge was rough. After using the disc for a day, I looked closely at the teeth and they looked worn. and other hardwoods and softwoods. Generally the cuts are smooth and the blades will last several months before the cuts slow down. This Bosch knife lasted less than a day and the results were unsatisfactory from the start. I am not satisfied with this product and have sent it back. I'm going back to Olsen.
