Well, not very well.
Well, the slicer had an interesting lid that I seem to have misused because the whole thing fell apart on the first try (see fig 1). The second photo shows a thick sheet of paper cut from the set with a utility knife. The sheath on the knife is very handy because it actually stays on. There are some cute clips included to keep things together. In the third photo, the mat was not damaged after the cut, although it was "soft" enough to help with the cutting (third photo). So this is a pretty good set of blades, minus the rotary cutter.
