Review on Filtrete Maximum Filtration Reduces 3US MAX F01 by Yoganand Stradley

This is a good filter but it doesn't last the 6 months stated on the packaging. The price is good, but the lifespan is short. One day I received a used filter. Another time I used a filter and the charcoal would not stop flowing the entire week we had it. It would be nice if 3m offered a recycling program for used canisters. Our city waters are clean without a filter, so this filter should last 6 months as recommended. Our filter did not last less and no longer than 2.5 months. I tried at least 10 of these filtrate filters before posting this review. So all you haters, shut up about doing something wrong. If you're on a tight budget this is a good price for an 'now' solution, but for the cost and perceived longevity I'll give it a 0. My search for a new filter continues. I want a kangan but it's just out of budget. So my search continues again.
