Made in Canada and marked 6.5 imp gal on the bottom. 6.5 imp gallons = 7.80617 US gallons. I have measured and poured water from a 128 ounce container and each time the water level has been near the bottom gallon mark. Therefore, the graduation is given in US GALLONS. It's only labeled up to 5 US gallons, so I added another US gallon (128 ounces) and marked it for 6 gallons. At 6 US gallons, the water arm is 3 1/2 inches from the rim. I added another 1 gallon and 3 liters and the level reached 1/2 inch from the edge. SO THIS BUCKET IS ADVERTISED.
