I'm not going to lie - this thing is damn cool to use. At first I was afraid that I would blow up the house or burn down the fence, something like that. I'm happy to report that nothing happened except killing weeds and grass. My backyard is fenced for my Scotties (x2) and I don't like using chemicals to kill weeds that grow in rock beds lined with weedcloth (obviously weedcloth doesn't work well). I've used a natural weed killer (homemade with vinegar and salt) and it works, but not for long. I thought I'd try. It's a lot more powerful than I thought - I mean orders of magnitude more. It's too loud. It reminded me of the burners used in hot air balloons - same sound - dare I say, just a little less powerful. I barely opened the handle on the tank and was able to get enough gas. In fact, I hardly had to pull the trigger - I think I used 5-10% of the trigger and it was fine. I had a bucket of water by my side and never thought I needed it. I'm very curious if this will kill the weeds in the long term or just temporarily slow their growth. In general and for the moment I am satisfied.
