I picked this up after getting a new PCI-E card with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and had some problems with the signal is weak and cut off. Things like streaming music or playing games through Bluetooth headphones turn on and off, or the connected Bluetooth controller turns off intermittently. I thought that this is because the antenna is behind the case and almost on the wall. Installation was very easy. All together. It remains only to unscrew the old antennas, screw in the antenna connector wires and move the antennas to a place where the signal is better captured. The base of the antenna is magnetized so it will stick to a metal case or other metal surface. It also has a couple of screw mounts in case you want to hang it on the wall, which I chose. Very painless. Bluetooth reception is MUCH better. There were no problems with all devices connected via Bluetooth, even when used simultaneously. The range increased dramatically (I think I actually went a bit further than the advertised range on the headphones I have) with no quality issues. The Wi-Fi signal was as good as the original antennas, maybe a little better. I should be getting faster speeds, but I think the problem is more with the ISP or older modem/router than this article (or the PCI-E card), so I won't record anything as there was no drop in reception. If you're having trouble with Bluetooth reception due to poor antenna placement, I can confidently say this will solve the problem. Totally worth the investment.
