Ideal carrier for our kayaks. The instructions that came with it were just a diagram with numbered steps which was a bit confusing for me as I wasn't into super mechanics but I adjusted it after watching a YouTube video and had no problems. I just need my husband's help with the final step of attaching it to my roof rack, which is pretty easy too. I was a little concerned that the bolts weren't long enough for my luggage rack, but with my husband's help tightening them we're perfect and they're very strong. Update 6/11/18 We've been using these racks for a year now and they're still great. We even left them in the car all winter and put our kayaks on for the first time last week and they are still solid no rust etc. These racks have been used about twice a week throughout the summer so we are very pleased. The straps that come with the racks are rubbish but you can easily buy some good quality cam straps and that should put you off buying this rack set now.
