My good Mackie computer speakers stopped working after a Windows update. After trying many things I think a BIOS update might be the answer. The sound comes from the mainboard. My USB headphones and monitor speakers work, but my good Mackies no longer work. I don't want to mess around with the BIOS and possibly mess things up even more. I thought I'd try. Naturally. I hooked it up to my computer and connected my speakers to it. Now I have high quality speaker sound again. It was a lot cheaper than buying a new sound card or computer. I am very happy with the results!
