If you use the right type of cable and the right type of clamp they work great! Lots of leverage, very solid feel, narrow enough to fit in tricky spots. I've found that the uninsulated crimp die doesn't work for built-in shrink clamps (which I use a lot); Either the tubing will break or it will not be crimped tightly enough, especially with wires on the smaller end of the specified range. For clamps with vinyl or other plastic insulation, it does the job perfectly. I haven't tried it on bare terminals yet. All in all it's a great tool, but you can add it to your arsenal instead of making it a versatile crimping machine.
