Review on BLACK+DECKER Socket Set, 40-Piece: Professional Quality Tools for Versatile Applications by Jon Russell

Well, I'm a bit of a tool freak. I have several of these compacts. It's good to have one in every car, garage and shed. I think Black & Decker is expanding its range. I had no idea Black & Decker made so many different hand tools. This is a very nice compact set. It arrived in a zipped box. 👍👍 - Very good quality plastic blow case. The clasps hold the case very well. They're a little tricky to unlock, but this is a new case. All parts are close to the body. Some of them are a bit difficult to remove. You may need a small screwdriver or a 1/4 inch socket head screwdriver. I would have preferred them fitting snugly rather than falling out. I have a couple of cheap kits that need to be opened carefully as the parts will fall out. 👍 - I really like the ratchet. The movement is smooth with a positive click. The 5 degree click motion is a big plus in tight spots. - I like rosettes very much. Chrome vanadium steel polished to a high gloss. The engraved numbers are clearly visible on the box. These outlets are better than the ones in my box. There are a few small things I could suggest to improve the set like adding a longer extension, a swivel adapter and some more screwdrivers (like square bits and torx bits) but that's not necessary, I have to add this one Set give away ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a great compact set with enough heads for most jobs.
