This is a heavy rating for this speaker. For this money is very good. Compared to my best speakers, that's just about acceptable. If I didn't have the Harmon Kardon Go+Play I would agree with most of the reviews. The problem is inside. I have Go+Play. I also have a JBL Xtreme (Original) and a JBL PartyBox 100. All other speakers pale in comparison to the Go+Play. It's just a phenomenal speaker. The PartyBox 100 has better bass and is louder, but the overall sound doesn't quite match the Go+Play either. Let's get back to W-King. it's great for $65. It's actually hard to believe that you can get a speaker of this size, battery life, and sound for $65. I bought it mainly because of the Oluv review. I just had to see how it sounds. I leave it, even though I have much better speakers. The W-King is great for putting in a golf cart when I need something really loud or when I'm going somewhere and don't want to bother with it. Sound. Spring. In general, it's pretty closed. It's not surround sound like the others I've mentioned. Bass is good but not deep enough to compete with the HK Go+Play. Interestingly, it suits the Xtreme quite well, as the extremes don't reach very low frequencies (below 70 Hz). It's quite bright. The W-King highs are very good. With the EQ button on, the sound gets pretty loud, but it sounds best at 70% volume. 100% a little distorted. At 70% it gets quite loud. In general, it is very pleasant and sounds very good. I just can't give 5 stars, I would give 4 and 1/2 stars if I could.
