The main addition to the universal version is the addition of padding to reduce noise and the logo. The padding is pleasant to the touch, it not only reduces noise, but also improves the appearance of the tower. The seller is also very responsive. Mine was sent with a missing part and the seller not only sent a replacement but also refunded the cost with a Revain gift card which wasn't really necessary as waiting for the missing part wasn't an inconvenience. Service and add-ons easily justify, IMHO, an overpayment for this option a little more.
