Read Description Carefully

I bought this for my raised bed that measures 2.5 feet by 33 feet. I didn't read the description very closely, which is my fault. I bought the 45.9' size. I assumed that it would be plenty for my 33' bed. Wrong.45.9' only refers to the amount of tubing included in the kit, not the linear coverage. There are fourteen emitters (sprinkler heads), but upon reading the documentation I learned that each emitter only covers 20". That's 280" or 23' 4". Maybe I can make that work, I thought. Space them at 28" and hope that enough water seeps in to cover most of the gap. But.The 20" coverage circle can only be expected if using a maximum of ten emitters. If all fourteen are used, coverage per emitter drops to 12-15". Translation: using more emitters does not equal much more coverage. According to the directions, my best coverage would be with ten emitters spaced 24" apart. This would cover most of the width of my bed and about twenty feet of its length, requiring a second zone for full coverage.I didn't want that hassle, so I decided to use all fourteen, spacing them between 28-30" apart. I knew there would be gaps, but hoped that it would still be effective. I started running tubing and connecting tubing starting at the far ends. I ran out of tubing before I got to the center where the two legs connect to the spigot adapter.I ordered a second kit, a 91.8' this time. That guaranteed me plenty of tubing to finish, with lots left over and plenty duplicates of every part in the kit for future repairs. Once I finished the installation, everything worked as advertised. I'll probably end up redoing it and making a second zone, hassle or not, because there are definite gaps in coverage between the emitters. This failure is mine, not that of the system, but I knocked off one star because this isn't made as clear in the description as I feel it should be.
