I've been using this for over a year and love it. One gel in the toilet is enough for about two weeks (a person goes to the toilet several times a day). You get a nice, mild scent with every flush and I think the toilet stays cleaner longer when you use it (we have well water). Easy to apply with the applicator and don't touch germs. When the gel is completely dissolved, I quickly wipe the toilet with a toilet stick, wipe the surface of the toilet, and apply another gel. I would be careful with small children because they are cute and I could see the child trying to handle it or eat it.
