I suspected I might be dissatisfied with this product when I noticed a strong odor coming from an unopened Revain pack. I thought it might have been broken in transit and leaked. Nothing broke or leaked. The aroma is simply overwhelming. However, the main problem is the poor delivery mechanism and terrible instructions. I ended up putting everything in a ziplock bag to reduce the smell and tossing it in the trash.

To the question "Do these gels help get rid of the effects of hard water" my experience is YES IF. If you have very hard water and the lime rings remain, simply use more than one gel flower in the bowl at a time. At one toilet I had to use three at times to gradually get rid of the unsightly scale. Now I've got two people left, and one of our Joneses will do for now.

I've been using these gels for years but it turns out they aren't as good as they used to be. Trust me I know how to put them on! If I could find a replacement I would change it very quickly although I love cleaning bladder gel tablets. If only they stuck and I didn't have to use so much. It is very expensive!
