This thing is amazing. This is required when debugging printed circuit boards (PCBs) with components mounted on a fine pitch surface. Combined with a logic analyzer and a multimeter (supplied with cables for both device types) it allows you to monitor signals anywhere on the PCB, whether test points are present or not. This allows you to receive signals wherever there is metal. I was able to eavesdrop on high-speed signals from QFN packages with tiny exposed pads that would otherwise be unreachable. Pcbite has pulled me out of the fire many times. Without them I'd just be guessing at problems - it allows me to hook up a logic analyzer almost anywhere on the board and see what the problem is. This is an elegant device - magnetized spring-loaded pins hold the board, the probes are spring-loaded. , weighted and on flexible shoulders. The combination allows the probes to stay in place after installation. The weight and stiffness of the levers make them fairly resilient to accidental knocks on the table (which I usually do). Be careful with probe pins! You are delicate. The kit comes with a few extras. I was rough with one of my probes and broke it so I couldn't replace the pin. I contacted support and they immediately sent me a new probe head and some extra pins free of charge. Your customer service is great too. Highly recommended.
