Indispensable. I couldn't work without it.

This is my second set of PCBites, bought mainly because I needed more probes, although other parts would be nice to have too. These probes are the best after cutting bread in the fine pitch surface mount world. We used to be able to attach adapters to DIP components and measure when the ground cools, but not anymore. PC Bits make it as easy as there aren't enough full-fledged, expensive mic positioners to sonic your board. These sets are just great.

That "cat meow " - Excellent

I was so impressed I bought two sets: an oscilloscope probe set and a spares set. Holders securely hold circuit boards up to 8 mm thick. The magnets at the base of the holders are very strong and don't move. There is a sheet of plastic that can be placed on the base to act as an insulator if needed. The flexible neck that holds the probe is amazing. It's flexible and leaves the probe *exactly* where you placed it. Needle tips make it easy to inspect the pins of even the smallest surface mountโ€ฆ

Indispensable - has saved my projects several times

This thing is amazing. This is required when debugging printed circuit boards (PCBs) with components mounted on a fine pitch surface. Combined with a logic analyzer and a multimeter (supplied with cables for both device types) it allows you to monitor signals anywhere on the PCB, whether test points are present or not. This allows you to receive signals wherever there is metal. I was able to eavesdrop on high-speed signals from QFN packages with tiny exposed pads that would otherwise beโ€ฆ
