Breakage is not a problem.
I've had an issue with the thinner plate breaking in my QuadraFire wood stove. This thicker board seems to be the answer. Time will tell, but so far so good.
- Compressive Strength at 25% Elongation - 78 psi, Permanent Liner Shrinkage - 3.5% max at 2200F for 24 hour soak, Loss on Ignition (LOI) at 1832F: 4-7
