Oh my god I'm disappointed in this purchase. When I see water resistance, I don't expect my kid to come home wet and dirty. I have to show a photo of the shorts and underwear that were underneath. I had to throw them away. Maybe they are enough for a hike in light rain. And to make matters worse, her teachers didn't even know how wet she was. Because the outside of the pants dries pretty quickly and doesn't look wet. So who would have thought that she was wet inside all day. Feeling of complete parental failure. So disappointed I didn't check them out myself before sending them out in them for a day. I'll see if I can go back, but I probably won't. Seriously not worth the money. I found some on LLbean for 19.99 and they work fantastic. Now she comes home dry!
