Bought these for my daughter to wear while we were on holiday in Edinburgh where rainy weather is expected at least intermittently. We were seated in the stadium during a brief rain (for the show). We found that the seams were not waterproof as described and the leggings she wore under these "rain pants" were wet at the inseams and the back of the pants. Oh my god I'm disappointed in this purchase. When I see water resistance, I don't expect my kid to come home wet and dirty. I have to show a photo of the shorts and underwear that were underneath. I had to throw them away. Maybe they are enough for a hike in light rain. And to make matters worse, her teachers didn't even know how wet she was.
