Haven't used mine yet but if everyone says they're all dry then so be it. After SEVERAL searches on the internet I found the instructions (although this is a downside of this product - it doesn't have instructions so I was also very confused) and the way you use this 'handle' is how to use one Blade or knife to cut off the end and make it a rounded point. Then simply rub in where you want the color and wipe off the excess before it dries. After a while the tip will harden again and you repeat the process the next time you want to use it.
