Best Harness & Offer

A few days later I'm packing a 2002 Honda Accord sedan with a friend, a 60 pound dog and two adult cats to drive from Texas to the Smoky Mountains! We needed harnesses to protect the cats and make it easier to capture and place them in travel cages before opening the doors. Tried a few in store. and had previous experiences with others. Wanted to buy two Sleepypod harnesses. Called Sleepypod with a question for their base store and left a message. and never called back. I guess they didn't need my business! Spring. they didn't get it! . Bought these instead. So happy we did! . The quality is superior to anything I've seen in a pet store. They're half the price of Sleepypod AND you get a FREE bonus leash. The padding is thick enough to keep cats in and they are easy to keep in the car. BUT YOU ARE SMALL. Originally bought small and medium based on sizes listed. I need medium and large. In the end we decided on silver and red. SOME NOTES: (1) No cat harness is 100% safe. they just don't exist. Cats have relaxed shoulders, "floating shoulders". and that makes it easier for them to slip out. However, they have velcro straps that can be pulled quite tight. and cover most of the chest. hence it is much more difficult for them to do so. (2) Don't even waste your time with a nylon cat harness. You can get off them faster than you can put them on a cat! I tried it on an older kitten who was cold. and even she came out of that 1-2-3! ENDE: Glad I have her and glad I found her for the trip. I'll post some pics with them in them soon.
