It's stamped "S925" so it's definitely real sterling silver, the stones have breathing holes so they're real cubic zirconia. It pairs best with a round or halo cut diamond. It is better with thin rubber bands, but with large rubber bands you have to stretch them, and it is inconvenient for me to do this all the time.
