Wow, doesn't seem like a good fit but it really is once you put all the slots in place and position them at the bottom of the console. It will require some bending and fiddling to get it in place, but there's a reason the instructions say it needs to be assembled in the console. (Note, otherwise it won't fit) If you have trouble fitting, turn the long pieces inside out. The slots should face up and the long part that forms the large openings for the drawers should be in front. It is made of nice and thick plastic, flexible but sturdy. It looks like it was CNC machined, so don't expect it to have a super finished, high quality look when you open the box. It doesn't matter because there's really no telling when it's in console.
