First things first. I'm looking for sockets without LEDs. Also, turn off the outlets you work on. The November review says you can get electrocuted from loose wires. The two holes on the back are where the wires go. However, there is no spring inside like in newer versions. Instead, a screw on the side secures the wires. The wires do not go under the screw head! There is no wire guide on the screw head and wires get lost or fall off. Instead, the wires go backwards and then tighten the screw. After you're done, pull on the wire to make sure it's secure. The outlets themselves work. Ok, I returned two for $22. They work as expected. I will update the review if one fails prematurely. If you already have them installed, take your time and make sure they are connected properly. Of course I can't speak for the LED version.
