Review on Stay Comfortable And Cozy With ULTRAIDEAS Women'S Memory Foam Slippers by Julie Blanford

Give it three or four days to judge fit

After reading reviews about buying up a size and people not being able to get their foot in, I purchased this with caution. I am normally a solid 8-1/2 shoe size. So I ordered a 9. I also have high arches and wear inserts for plantar fascitis. I work from home and wear slippers all day, except when going out. So, these had to be comfortable and sturdy. I liked the one year warranty.First, I had no problem getting my feet into the slippers with a medium sock. Yes, you do have to pull the heel over. But that's fine for me because I want the slippers to stay on my feet and for my feet not to move around. Second, it was a tight fit--particularly on my right foot which is 1/4 to 1/2 size larger than my left foot.Second, the fit in the toe was tight. If I had judged the fit on first putting them on I would have sent them back. However, several reviews said to wear them for a few days because they will stretch. I'm really glad I did. The first day I wore them about four hours. Honestly, I couldn't do it longer than that. The second day, I put in my orthotic insert and wore them all day (about 14 hours). It was still a tight fit but not painful. The third day, I wore them all day except for a 2 hour break when I was out. (total about 12 hours). The fit was snug but not too tight. By the fourth day the fit was just right. For me, this is a good indoor/outdoor slipper. I like a snug fit. I like that my feet don't move around in the slipper and that I can have my orthotic inserts inside on top of the memory foam. The warmth level is just right--cozy warm but not so much my feet sweat. For those who like a lot of room for your feet to spread out and feel spacious, this is not the slipper for you. I'm going on the second week now and I doubt it is going to stretch much further. For that I'm happy because they will probably last longer.

Pros
  • Provides excellent traction on hardwood, tile, and other types of floors
Cons
  • The slippers can be too warm for some users
