I like this thing. I love making apple pies and cutting the skin and core takes so much time. With it you can peel apples of different sizes very quickly and easily. You just put a page in the little bulbous things and then turn on the cutter. When cranking, it does everything automatically and leaves a round core. I've found there's a lot less waste than doing it manually. You probably shouldn't do this, but I run mine in the dishwasher just to make sure. remove and dry immediately.
