A nice set of solid metal dice with a black nickel finish and gold painted numbers. The pebbled "cobblestone" texture gives them an interesting feel and the dished out faces makes them easier to grab. The D8 and D4 have a non-standard shape that lets them roll much easier than typical dice.Unfortunately the raised numbering suffers from what seems like a persistent problem with a number of different dice manufacturers: sloppy painting. It isn't as bad as some of the sets I've seen though. It should only affect the Black/Gold and Silver/Gold sets, so if like this design I'd suggest one of the single color metallic finish sets instead.
