I look everywhere for soft LONG white t-shirts for my 5 year old son. They were a bit pricey but it was worth it to have something to match his polo shirt. For the latter, I've bought undershirts from Fruit of the Loom or Hanes, but they're roomy and boxy, shrinking to the point of being too short. Also, these Carter tank tops are much softer, so your child is more likely to wear them!
