I could not have loosened the crankshaft pulley bolt without this tool. The tool is specially designed for this pulley (distance and diameter of two pins) and has a very strong construction. Two of my 3/8 adapters sheared off when I retightened the bolt, but the tool didn't fail. It later turned out that the 3/8 drive was not rated for 250 ft-lb of torque. This tool can turn the biggest hurdle of timing belt replacement into a one-man job.
