Do yourself a favor and look for another model if you use car tires

This is the weakest portable air compressor I have ever used - it comes with a warning, no more than 8 minutes at a time to run or you could damage the device. I tried inflating a low pressure tire to 25psi and after 8 minutes the pump only increased the pressure to 41psi. Turned it off to let it cool and when it hit 45psi the unit started smoking. It might be fine for basketballs or bike tires, but not for car tires.
