Irritating - my new review

Purchased this a while ago and waited to set it up in order to get all the needed supplies; needle cleaner, record cleaner, some D4+ , etc. Hook everything up and try playing a few new jazz and blues records only to discover my stylus is seriously messed up. It sounded choppy and like it was being dragged across gravel. I changed out cables and used pre amp also built in pre amp just to rule out anything else causing the issue. In fact was using same cables for my other turntable and they worked very well. Now I’m stuck scanning around and buying a new stylus. It’s not like the one on it is a cheap $10 one either. It would be nice to get a replacement one.

Pros
  • 2 speed
Cons
  • Tends to require more maintenance and upkeep compared to other turntables.
