Because I live in Utah and regularly ski in the winter, I alternate between all-season tires and winter tires every winter. I recently bought steel rims for my winter tires but didn't like the way they looked. I considered getting alloy wheels but it wasn't worth the extra cost and I figured the steel wheels would last longer in the cold and snow. To enhance the look of the black steel rims, I bought these Gunmetal Gray Pilot Automotive hubcaps. To my surprise, these hubcaps look better than I expected and look good on my car. I had them fitted at a tire shop so I don't know how easy they were, but looking at them now I like how they look. Yes, they will not replace high quality alloy wheels, but they will work very well for winter tires.
