Fits perfectly but heats up slowly when first switched on. It is dimmed and then warmed up to full brightness. After a few hours of use, it will be less noticeable. Sort of like a period break for lack of a better term. Be sure to clean the inside of the projector before or during lamp replacement. The original lamp lasted over 5,000 hours; I hope this one can do the same. I will be happy with the 4000 as there will be plenty of time to find an improved replacement.
