My experience with watercolors until I bought these pens was limited to cheap palettes that you could find anywhere. Messy and unpredictable, I really liked the watercolor look, but it seemed more of a hassle than anything else. Most of my coloring work has been done with alcohol markers and colored pencils and I was wondering if watercolor pencils would give me the same control and also give the look I was looking for. These pens were exactly what I was looking for. Easy to set up and use; but above all control and precision. Excellent results can be achieved in combination with colored pencils. (I have provided a test pattern I made yesterday)
