Review on Braun SensorAir Air Purifier White by Joey Makarovski

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works better than expected and has a washable filter

Update: So it's time to do something about the VOX filter which isn't washable (I remembered after washing it) and the Filter costs $50. What is more worrying is that the filter is not available. Only Revane "has it". There is no delivery for 2-3 months. Please note that it is recommended to replace the filter every 6 months AND is NOT available. I still love this cleaner and will let the VOX filter dry and put it back in the car. Original rating. This air purifier works great. Installation was easy except for ALL the tape that had to be removed. I think the idea is to force you to open the back cover and remove the plastic over the filter. Whatever the reason, prepare to remove a lot of tape. To install, all you have to do is install the filters and click ON. There are options to choose from such as: B. Start with a timer (1, 2, 4, 8 hours), automatic smart mode (it controls itself but never turns off) or you set it to a specific air quality setting. .The system also informs you about the air quality by showing the colors blue=low, yellow=medium, red=high (essentially it tells you how many particles are in the air). You notice that when cooking. My house is small (1200 square feet) and I don't need anything to make the whole house smell like food. The first time I cooked with the air purifier on, I was surprised to hear the fan running at full blast. When I checked it was red, indicating high particle levels. He worked in this mode while I was cooking. As the smells subsided, he switched to a lower setting. Same thing happened today when I was using nail polish remover. Around the time I smelled him in the room, the machine was revving up. This time he worked at high speed for just a minute or two and then slowed down. That's cool! Now I have to hear my smoke alarms less. The machine tells you when it's time to clean the filter and particle sensors. I found this machine to be a "set it and forget it" device. It works as it should. In fact, it's way better than I ever expected. At low speed it's very quiet (almost silent) and that's how it stays in the Smart Auto. As with any fan, the higher the speed, the more noise it makes. DEVELOPER NOTE: There is an issue that I hope the manufacturer will address. The back cover of the filter must be locked. When you put the cover on, you need to press the latch to lock it. Well, it looks like the latch sticks out a bit from the latch slot. So if you touch the back cover or move the device, EVERYONE. SINGLE. TIME. the back cover falls off. You can fix this by applying masking tape to the outer edge of the lid. Plus, once you find a spot for it, you don't have to touch it often.
