I ordered two sets of 12 inch wide blinds to cover two adjacent windows. The distance between these two window frames is pretty much exactly 24 inches, maybe 24 1/8 inches at most. After I started measuring things, I found that the blinds are actually 12 3/16" to 12 1/4" wide at the mounting surface (see attached photo). I can get it working, but it will take a lot more creativity and "engineering" than I planned. However, I have already installed a set of 15 inch blinds on another window. Painting and installing was pretty easy and they look great. Update: I've finished the two adjoining windows. It definitely took some "creativity" but they stood and looked good. See photo.
