Bought after ankle surgery, the idea of compression/ice therapy combined without bulky ice packs and towels was amazing. Unfortunately, until recently it was not possible to use it much. Since my surgery, ice packs have been used alone almost daily. It should be noted that the cold packs get very cold - yes, that sounds strange, doesn't it? I mean salt + ice + cold water - it keeps the temp closer to your freezing temp. Although this product keeps the ice packs off your skin with its own barrier, I really recommend wearing a sock or something similar. / 20 minutes. Extremely adjustable for maximum comfort - however after surgery - there's really no comfort with it - you can feel the firm shape of the ice pack - they don't fit your foot (they almost seem to freeze solid)
