Review on CRAFTSMAN V20* Cordless Hedge Trimmer: Cut Branches Effortlessly With 22-Inch CMCHTS820D1! by Samantha Hervey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well on my review.

Very sharp blades with good cutting width capability. The saw on the end worked well on a small sapling I had growing up in my flower bed. The way the saw works is by pushing a metal bar on the end against the object to be cut to stabilize the cutter. The problem is it gets hung on small branches you are trimming. The safety switch on the trigger is a little wonky at first but after some use it was easy to get accustomed too. The motor is powerful and I was able to trim my whole house with only 1 battery. I will never go back to gas or using a cord. I cut through a few cords in my day and had plenty of clogged carburetors. No more. This is the way I’m going from now on. I have 2 other craftsman tools a fan and the pole saw. All the batteries interchange on my craftsman tools so buy something that you can share batteries with.

Pros
  • Up to 3/4inches Cut capacity - Large blade gap to quickly cut branches
Cons
  • The product is not suitable for dusty environments
