The shipping packaging was not enough to prevent minor damage. Thankfully, these were just cosmetic dents in a few corners. (See image) The mounting holes were 16" apart, perfect to line up with the studs in my wall. I would have liked better closures. I believe it will hold the advertised max weight of 88lbs. As with all wall shelves, shelf depth is limited. There is an inch and a half clearance between the front brackets and the glass door. I don't want to use CAT6 patch cords in patch panels or switches on front brackets. The back has a gap of about three and a half inches. It has cutouts on the back of the rack at the top and bottom. This provides sufficient access to the cable. My biggest concern is airflow and heat build-up. If you have something that generates a lot of heat you will need to add fans for the very limited air holes. I would have liked a screen for the front door and lots of other openings at the top of the rack. I was able to easily remove both sides and the front door. This will be my decision as I add more hardware. The lock on the front door and the rear hinge are designed to keep honest people honest. Once I started installing the equipment in the rack, I was hesitant to open the hinge to access the back panel. I am satisfied with the price-performance ratio. For a low temp or when you want to remove the sides, it's a nice little office or home shelf.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I won't say anything
