Seriously, don't buy this.

This has to be the cheapest filter I have ever bought. A little background: In the car I installed this filter in, the filter was on the driver's side floor panel. Basically you have to lay down on the floor/seat and dig behind the gas pedal to get there. This is a three part filter; you take one out and put one in. This is the worst cabin filter assembly I have ever seen. When inserting new filters you will need to bend them slightly to fit around the gas pedal and insert each piece vertically, latch them then slide up and repeat. It really takes a well built filter to fit properly and not fall apart right away. This filter is not. They don't slide together smoothly. Instead, they twist, warp, and break the adhesive that holds the filter in its cheap plastic frame. It also doesn't require much force. The first kit I received fell apart halfway through so I had to try to remove the broken filter from the car and reinstall the old one. The second one I got fell apart. as soon as I took it out of the box. I think chewing gum would work better. I reluctantly put it in the car to end the whole ordeal. Seriously, don't buy this filter and save yourself a lot of frustration. I've installed this type of filter multiple times and Fram's bad excuse for the filter is absolutely the worst.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
