This is a beautifully designed and visually appealing little tube amp. It does NOT have enough power to deliver loud sound and good bass when used alone as a headphone amp. However, when paired with a tube preamp such as the Nobsound NS-10P, the Sabaj PHA3 delivers a deep, rich and warm tube sound that is extremely pleasing to the ear. I was blown away by the GREAT STEREO SOUND this unit delivers in decent headphones (like the Audio Technica MSR7bGM) and is controlled by the iPod Touch. If you want AMAZING tube sound from your headphones at a truly affordable price, pair the Sabaj PHA3 with the right tube headphone preamp, sit back and enjoy your favorite music like never before.
