Installed about 3 months ago in an old ASUS laptop to increase the RAM for Windows 10. Everything went well, no problems. I had to use a YouTube video to confirm the installation as these modules require a specific insertion angle and some force to snap into the slot and I wanted to be sure I was doing it right to insert the module, SIMM slot, not to damage , or both. After installing the BIOS, POST recognized it without any problems and the performance of the laptop improved significantly. Make sure you do your research and buy the right type, capacity, and speed.
